Global Music Project.org is filming a music documentary and YOU can be in it! Shoot and then upload your best video content to http://facebook.com/globalmusicproject or comment with a link to your YouTube footage: http://youtube.com/globalmusicproj. GMP is looking for footage that shows you and/or your band telling your story, performing for an audience, or captures you or your band during the wildest moments. The best, most interesting or entertaining footage will be included in the final cut of the film. Upload the best quality you can shoot, whether it be with a high-definition video camera, digital camera (video) or mobile phone. Here are some ideas of what Global Music Project wants to include in the movie:

• Performing for an audience
• Before the show (Excited? Nervous? – an important producer or media in audience?)
• After the show (happy or disappointed, interacting with the fans, etc)
• You talking to the camera about your background and your goals in music
• Your band members talking about their background and goals in music
• Tour bus or driving to your gig
• Staying in a motel room (groupies?) or couch surfing
• Doing fun things with your friends
• Showing us the sites – tell us and show us what your city or country is like
• Include comments from your fans (before or after the show)
• Show us you, while you’re writing, recording, or having a discussion about this film

If any of the footage (or songs) you’ve uploaded are featured in the film, then your name or band name will appear on the screen and in the credits. This means GLOBAL exposure for you and your music!

ABOUT THE MOVIE
This full-length music documentary film will feature artists from many different countries and the footage will be shot by the artists themselves, their fans, and our event coordinators worldwide. “Ride along on the tour bus with the bands, see them at their shows, hear from their fans, and experience their joys and failures along the way – you’ve never seen or heard anything quite like this.” The movie will debut November 2012 at film festivals, participating theater screens, and possibly a television network. It will then be made into a DVD and/or be available for download. Proceeds will go to support Global Music Project’s mission to unite people through music and cultural awareness.
